Break Fasting Packages Distributed For Needy People in 223 RWs

Jakarta Government initiates a movement to give assistance in form of breaking fast package for needy residents.

This program is held through collaboration between government and residents

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan said, this breaking fast package will be distributed for needy people in 223 RWs through cooperation  in Dompet Duafa and Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT).

"This program is held through collaboration between government and residents. We give a big opportunity for people who want to join and share for others," he mentioned, after assigned Cooperation Agreement for breaking fast together between residents, Jakarta, City Hall, Tuesday (5/15).

For residents who wants to participate and give donation, he continued, can deliver it through Dompet Duafa and ACT. 

"Aid distribution in each regions will be coordinated by mayor thus it can be on target," he explained.

Dompet Dhuafa President Director, Imam Rulyawan said, this program is a good momentum to share with others in Ramadan month.

"We open this opportunity widely for people who want to share with needy communities," he stated.

Meanwhile, ACT Senior Vice President, Imam Akbari added, program to break the fast together with residents will be a reflection of mutual cooperation nation.

"This is collaboration between communities to strengthen our unity," he conveyed.
